(Art) She Who Has Faith in the Unknown by Jassy Watson

She who has Faith in the UnknownThis is a painting I did in the second half of 2013 titled “She who has Faith in the Unknown”. She is my Inner Priestess Self.

The approach to my artwork is sacred and carries with it the way of the Shaman.

When I create I connect to source and access a deep place within by drumming and visioning to retrieve information in the form of images, symbols and words to bring into manifest form by way of a painting.

It is the messages and symbolic meaning that is decoded from these visions that enables me to bring about healing and transformation of the self. It enables me to bring into form that which I do not have language for.

Hexenschlaf (Sleep of the Witches) by Albert v. Keller
When the women were burned the extreme high concentrations of carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide made them pass out “fall asleep” ( and die), even before they felt the pain of burning. Superstitious people believed this was a “last favour” the Evil one did for his “brides.”
