Star Atlantis, shining in an almond shell,

upended when the rains came fierce,

a city overpowered by some drops

and we have finally learned to breathe.

Summer and the water world, our symptoms

washed away, oh Darwin, with your fins and gills

bequeathed to us, down below the fiery heat

that melted all, and we the maids and men of Mer.

Become a tale, a tail no one imagined, told

in palaces of plenty and dismissed as heresy,

and now the artistry of coral beckons live,

the fans are waving, calling us back home.

Pangaea, land we cannot pass, and all the Earth

a saturate, returning to the womb, returning

from our dreams of glory, glory is the kelp

we hide behind, the secret caves of Oceania.
