Kerryn Coombs-Valeontis is an art and horticultural therapist working in mental health in Australia.. She is just emerging as a poet and is studying poetry therapy. Her poems and art are a response to life; nature as a healing force and a return to the feminine, are recurrent themes in her exploration. She is traversing more confidently the nexus between the two, and feels ready to share this now. You could say she is a late bloomer, but then again, we can only bloom when we are ready! She has a B. Ed. and Masters in Social Ecology.
