(Meet Mago Contributor) Jillian Burnett

Born in New York City, from a family of Indian and Puerto Rican immigrants Doctoral Candidate J.A. Burnett is a published poet and author of The Lost Key. She is the founder of the American Renaissance Research and Field Trip Society. As a cellist, her most recent recording is the Infinite Ellipse. Studying the lore of the Taino, J.A. practices the revival of spirit celebrating her Native American heritage. Gaming since the 80s, she is a Dungeon Master with a thousand hours of Skyrim. Above all, she loves the weave of words.

  1. This latest offering (10/1/24) of Julian’s a weaving of interconnection between ancestral longing, the relationship between foods (nature) and story and becoming present to now moves me deeply… If our ancestral lines have been muddied Julian demonstrates how to reconnect…Just beautiful.
